Puttaparthy - the place BHAGAWAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA
chose for His Advent and Mission of reestablishing Sanathana
Dharma, Peace and Love on earth among Humanity needs no
introduction today. The place evokes a strong bond of love
and spiritual solace in everybody. It is the Abode of Peace
in every sense of the description. It is the place where
Dharma of every religious faith is protected, nourished and
propagated. It is the International Education, Health and
Universal Spiritual Center today.
An
important aspect in housing sector in this place is the land
costs which are so high that common middle class devotees,
officials and staff working in various public and private
Organisations and people living in and around Puttaparthy
can not afford to even think of buying any residential plot
or house. The prevailing market rate of the
land ranges from Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs.2.50 Lakh percent. In
order to make our little humble contribution to help the
local residents as well as Sai devotees from other parts of
the world to have sites and houses with at the most
affordable cost for the Members and with the main objective of BRINGING
THE HOUSING SECTOR IN PUTTAPARTHY UNDER THE 'CO-OPERATIVE
INSTITUTION',
we had placed our humble Prayers at the Lotus Feet of our
Lord and Divine Mother Sai to bless and help promotion and
starting of a Co-operative Housing Society in Puttaparthy as
early as in 1995. With the Grace and Love of our Divine Lord
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, now the 'HOUSING SECTOR' in
Puttaparthy has come under the democratic and noble
Co-operative Institution by the starting of the FIRST AND
ONLY Co-operative Housing Society named as 'SAI DARSHAN
MUTUALLY AIDED CO-OPERATIVE TOWNSHIP HOUSING SOCIETY
LIMITED', approved by the Commissioner and Registrar of
Co-operative Societies, Government of Andhra Pradesh,
Hyderabad and registered by the Joint Registrar-cum-District
Co-operative Officer, Anantapur, under the Andhra Pradesh
Mutually Aided Co-operative Societies Act, 1995.
The
UNIQUE SPECIAL FEATURE of this Society is that 'anybody
throughout the world' who wants to have a residence at
Puttaparthy can become Member of the Society. This feature
is not available to any Cooperative Housing Society.
The
Society’s Main aims are:

The ORDERLY
AND PLANNED DEVELOPMENT of layouts and Townships (similar to the
layouts/Townships in Metropolitan cities) in Puttaparthy and surrounding areas
and villages coming under SRI SATHYA SAI TALUK, and formation of residential
sites with all facilities like Water supply; Broad and well laid asphalted
roads with avenue trees; Underground Sanitary and drainage facilities;
Shopping Complexes; Play grounds; Civic Amenity areas; Recreation and other
facilities, etc., BEFITTING AN
INTERNATIONAL SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY AND TOWNSHIP, for allotment to its
MEMBERS for dwelling purposes at the
most economical, affordable and minimum cost payable on EASY
INSTALLMENTS;

To construct residential Apartments and buildings under Group
Housing Scheme for allotment to Members;
and
-
To establish and carry on social service, spiritual and recreation
activities for the benefit of the Members of the Society.
Now
every individual/family in India and abroad including NRIs
and foreign Nationals, the Officials in Government and other
Organisations, Banks, business community and people already
living in and around Puttaparthy cherishing the desire to
have their OWN Homes/Apartments in and around Puttaparthy
can have their desires fulfilled through the Society.
THE
SOCIETY IS PROMOTED FOR THE PEOPLE, BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE AND MANAGED BY THE
PEOPLE. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN
THE SOCIETY FOR THEIR HOUSING NEEDS.
